Volunteer with YLD and TOV with Chicago Park District @ Jewish United Fund

Overview

This month, join JUF Young Leadership Division and Tikkun Olam Volunteer Network for a family volunteer session with the Chicago Park District at their Community Roots Community Garden. All volunteers and their families will learn about the local gardens with activities including trash pick-up, garden maintenance like weeding, planting, watering, and some additional special projects. We welcome and encourage our volunteers to bring their children!

This event is for young adults ages 22-39. If you are not 22-39 years old, please email YLD@juf.org to learn about opportunities that may be right for you!

*The Peer Program matches young adults with disabilities to a similarly aged community member with inclusion training. The Peer is available to attend the event with you and provide whatever level of support is needed.
